Saif Ali Saif Obaid Bin Abed

"My name is Saif Ali Saif Obaid Bin Abed. I come from a “Sickle Cell Anemia” family where both my parent, older sister and several close relatives also suffer from SCA. I was diagnosed with SCA since 2014, when I got a fever I had to stay in the hospital for a week or more and constantly had horrible pain. I spent a lot of time on morphine drip, oxy-gen and blood transfusion. However, situation only got worst, and test results showed that my blood oxygen percentage has dropped.

I was also forced to take painkillers daily (3 tablet of Hydroxyurea per day), and experienced many side effects, including vomiting, diarrhea and dizziness. SO, I decided to stop my medication in 2015 and search for an alternative solution.

Finally, I came across stem cell therapy, so my older sister and I started stem cell treatment and the weekly crisis events stopped.

Previously, I had difficulties walking for more then one hour, I will feel tired, have problems breathing and severe dizziness. Following the stem cell treatment, I can walk freely and enjoye several hours of shopping spree with my sister.

I know my SCA cannot be permanently cured but I am now pain free and able to live a better personal and professional life."

Did you try or experience any other form of treatment prior to Stem Cell Therapy?
I tried exercises, going easy on my knee, and physiotherapy, but I couldn’t treat the tendonitis. I prayed that my body would be comfortable and functional into my eighties, but I thought that I was going to have knee pain every day for the rest of my life.

No side effects, my pain has gone away completely. My knee doesn’t feel as sturdy as before the injury, but the pain’s gone, praise the Lord. Now, I am trying to strengthen my leg.
